Fly for Fun Competitions for 2017

1st Comp Wednesday 7th June 2017
Prompt start 5:00pm ( Timing is just before Glider comps start, so it hopefully won't interfere with everyday flying.

Model to be used is a foam profile type model of 800 to 1000 mm span however The Model must be capable of taking off from grass any combination battery or motor. Electric of course. Ask Harvey. Dave Langley or myself ( Dave Sanderson) for details if you are unsure. Robot Birds or HobbyKing seem the best sites for purchase. Recommendations will depend on who you ask as we all seem to have our favourites. 1 meter span model seems likely choice for most pilots. The smaller 800mm great if we could guarantee windless days. click or paste link below for popular example of model choice http://robotbirds.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5248
